Location & Parking


Where are you located?

All classes take place in the front room of our studio, which is located on the lower level in Fountain Square Mall, right next to Stefano's:

Do you have parking available?

While we don't have our own exclusive parking, there is ample metered parking available around the square. Even better, the Garage Art parking garage (enter on 4th Street between College Avenue and Walnut Street) has an enclosed skyway leading directly into Fountain Square Mall and offers free parking in the evenings and on weekends. During regular business hours during the week, your first 3 hours are free and only $0.50/hour after that. See City of Bloomington Parking for more information.

 

Classes


How can I register for a class?

You can find the current classes being offered by going to our Calendar. When you click on the name of the class, you will be taken to the detailed description of the class and you will be registered once you pay. We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. You don't need to have a PayPal account to use the service. Please note that we will contact you with class information using the email address associated with your payment. If you prefer we use an alternative email address, please provide it in the notes to seller.

The class I want to take is already full! Is there a waitlist?

Absolutely! Our classes are limited in size, in part due to our space. (But that also means you get more one-on-one attention when needed!) Just send us an email or message us through Facebook, and we'll make sure you're added to the waitlist. When a spot opens up, we'll contact you right away. We know that you may not be able to make it at the last minute, but we'll reach out just in case!

Do I need to bring my machine?

Nope! Well, unless you're coming to the Get to Know Your Machine class, of course. We have 3 Brother CS6000i sewing machines available for a small rental fee when taking classes ($5/class) or coming for Stitched Lounge time ($5/hour). While they aren't the high-end expensive machines you might find elsewhere, they are sturdy machines with loads of features. And if you fall in love with them, they're actually affordable and easy to find. If you prefer to bring your own machine, that's totally fine. Just be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to start and don't forget your power cord, feet and bobbins.

What supplies do I need to bring?

We have a lot of supplies available for you to use, including rotary cutters, scissors, straight edges, pins and so much more. If there's something special that you need for your project, just send us a quick email or message us through Facebook and we'll let you kow if we have it! If you're coming for a class, we'll send you a supply list beforehand. Keep in mind that we do not have fabric and supplies for sale in our studio at this time, so if there's something you need to purchase you'll need to visit a local shop ahead of time. Cancellations / Refunds


I signed up for a class, but now I can't make it! Can I get a refund?

No refunds are offered for classes. We will do everything we can to call upon our waitlist to take your place if you cannot attend. Cancellations received 48 hours before class will be able to transfer their fees to another class. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before class starts or no-shows may forfeit their class fees entirely. Please email us or message us through Facebook as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements. We cannot guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Classes are subject to change or be cancelled based on low attendance. If a class is cancelled due to low attendance, we will either issue credit toward another class or a full refund.
